The Elgin Train Depot is the home of the Eagle Cap Excursion Train. The depot is located in Elgin, Oregon, a small town in the northeast corner of Oregon. The depot is open seasonally for train rides and special events. The train is difficult to access via wheelchair. Ramp onto the train is 2%, then a 45” long 18% ramp with metal grate to a 9-inch step onto the train car. Small wheelchairs can be lifted on to the train, but there is very limited mobility once on the train. The train aisles are 21"-24" wide.
