There are multiple parking areas on the WSU campus, one of which is a parking garage beneath the building CougTech is in. There are elevators on each floor of the parking garage and there is a parking lot outside of the building with 8 van accessible spots. The elevator is a couple of feet inside the parking garage and CougTech is on the 3rd floor.
There is a crosswalk to go across from the parking lot into the elevator.

The door has an "L" shaped handle, but is pretty heavy. The door does not have a buzzer, nor does it have an opening device. This is something CougTech is looking into, therefore hopefully it will be addressed by the Fall of 2017. The staff will assist in whichever way they can to ensure a person's access to the facility.

The desk in front of the door is at standing height, but next to it is a desk at sitting height which can be utilized at any moment. The lighting is generally natural light, but is consistently lit through the day with the overhead lights. The space CougTech is in is open and echoing in certain areas may occur, music is kept at a low tone at all times and can be turned off if requested. CougTech signage and communication is generally in English, but the staff are willing to do whatever they can do to help the customer including reading to, teaching, talking to, and writing down any information that needs to be discussed.

CougTech is located on the WSU campus's Smith Center for Undergraduate Education (CUE), therefore parking would be best found at the CUE parking garage or the lot in front of it. The elevator in the parking garage can be taken to the third floor where CougTech is in room 302. CougTech is currently looking to add a doorbell, an automatic opener, or another device to assist customers if they cannot open the door. Staff are very accommodating and willing to help in a variety of ways that ensure the customer is helped. The worktables are set at sitting height and the greeter table/receptionist desk is at a standing height. In the Summer of 2017, CougTech is looking into prototyping a new floor layout to accommodate any and all customers.
